Hosting

This website is operated with an external hosting provider that processes data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). This includes the server log files and the data you submit through the forms on this website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server log files

Every time this website is accessed, the server automatically records technical access data (including IP address, date and time, page requested, browser used). This data serves the technical security and stability of operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is automatically deleted after a short time.

Contact by email, phone, or contact form

If you contact us by email, phone, or the contact form, we process your details to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Messages from the contact form and callback requests are stored in our system and also forwarded to us by email, so that no inquiry gets lost. They are deleted automatically after 90 days at the latest.

Repair request and order handling

When you submit a repair request, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, company/contact-person data where applicable, device data, fault description, optional photos) to handle and carry out the repair (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract customers, or (f) for the pre-contractual inquiry). Data is only shared with the recipients listed below.

Processing of device data

For diagnosis and repair, the following device-related data may be processed:

  • Serial number and IMEI, to uniquely identify the device.
  • Access credentials (e.g. PIN, password, Apple ID/Google account), where required for the repair - used exclusively to carry out the repair, retained for the shortest practical time, and never appearing in ordinary logs, emails, or PDFs.
  • Photos of device condition, to document condition and repair progress.

Status lookup

The status page is only reachable with an order number and a personal access code, and shows only information explicitly marked as customer-visible.

Appointment booking

When you request an appointment online, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number and message, and any order number you supply) to arrange and carry out the appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The appointment status page is only reachable via a personal link with a reference and access code.

Notifications

We send email notifications about the status of your request or repair via an email delivery service (SMTP). The notification channel you chose (email, phone, WhatsApp, or Telegram) is used to contact you.

Telegram

If you write to us on Telegram or name Telegram as your preferred way of contact, we communicate with you via Telegram. The provider is Telegram FZ-LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; its privacy policy also applies. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

WhatsApp

We optionally offer a WhatsApp contact link. Using this link is subject to the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta).

Instagram

We link to our Instagram profile. Only when you click the link are you taken to Instagram, where the privacy policy of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland applies.

Internal notifications via Telegram

To handle new repair and appointment requests quickly, we notify ourselves via the Telegram messenger. The notification contains the details of your request (e.g. name, contact details, device, requested repair, problem description or appointment). The provider is Telegram FZ-LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Data may be transferred to countries outside the EU for which there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling your request promptly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention period

We only store personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Messages from the contact form are deleted after 90 days at the latest. Repair order data is kept for as long as claims arising from the order (e.g. warranty) may exist. Invoices and accounting records are kept as required by commercial and tax law, generally for eight years (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Device access credentials are retained for the shortest practical time and deleted once no longer needed.

Providing your data

Providing your data is neither a statutory nor a contractual requirement. Without a name, a way to contact you and details of the device, however, we cannot handle your inquiry or carry out a repair. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

Recipients

Recipients of your data are only the service providers named above (hosting, email delivery and - where described above - Telegram, DeepL and sevdesk), for a mail-in repair the carrier for the return shipment (name and address), and authorities where we are legally obliged to provide information.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses only technically necessary cookies (session cookie, CSRF protection, language preference, cookie choice). See Cookie settings.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Please contact us using the details above.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte), Maternistraße 17, 01067 Dresden.
